  • just wondering if you ever got this problem fixed? and how? what was the cause of this? my truck is doing the exact same thing and havnt been able to figure out what the cause is.

  • @t25587 The cause is soot build up on the veins of the turbo. It is basically a design flaw involving the turbo & EGR valve. Once the engine does what mine did the fix is rebuilding (cleaning) the turbo or replacing it. Fortunately mine was replaced on warranty and ever since then I add Ford's Cetane Booster/Performance Improver. It was recommended by the service manager and for the last 24,000 miles the engine has run smooth and strong with no signs of backfire.

  • Great video man now I know whats wrong w my truck

  • what ended up being the problem?

  • @chevyblows2001 ford guys are all retarded, nothing more to say than that.

  • CUMMINS TURBO DIESEL...................= The Cure. I had a ford aswell. My Uncle has the same sheeit. He is selling it now. I love Ford, but they change engines,,heads,,turbos,, way to much trying to still figure it our they are.!!!!!!!!!

  • runs like a ford!!!

  • @gpm414 is spot on. The veins clog up w soot. Ive Been working on these 6.0 engines since they came out. I feel sorry for folks who own them. They are a maintenance nightmare for the owner. BUT a money maker for repair shops. Tho a great engine when taken care of. Requires much more care than any other diesel.

  • your problem is not driving it i had a 07 over 130,000 and never a problem the 6.0l was designed to put your foot in it and not idle around or sit they need to be driven almost everyday and yes put your foot in it that is what keeps them clean most people don't they baby them like it was a dodge but they were not made for that

  • @videoman223 why would he do that,so that the body will rust away or leave him stranded on the side of the road because of there junk transmissions
