  • I admire your support and inspiration for Sir Don, but there are many others of his era who you should also review. Maybe then rethink your acclimation regarding him, he is good and I have recently read his autobiography and revisited his body of work and am similarly inspired, but there are others who give me this inspiration as well. There is a French woman who passed away in the last 1 or 2 years (I am crap with names) who is just brilliant.

  • @LondonRefugee - Donald McCullin, FRPS CBE he even introduces himself as "Sir Don McCullin"

  • i would have like to have seen more of his nature photography.

  • need to know what films he used...they last damn well

  • McCullin is NOT 'one of the most important living war photographers'.

McCullin is 'the most important living photographer'. No contest!

He has the most sublime photographic eye.

If ever a great man deserves a knighthood it is Don McCullin.
