Thank you! I saw a video /watch?v=3_EyTUNwWEE that shows horrible conditions. I had no idea!! And I think most people don't. This was the worse of all when the Early Govt. took the children and put them in boarding schools, to remove them from Tribal Lifestyle.

If we spoke up, more people would know what's happening and the politicians would do more to have better and clinics (open once a month for 4 hours) for them, as an example. Share with everyone, we can write to Congress to show support

SHE"S NOT A NOKIMIS/GRANDMOTHER YET! I've had grandchildren since my late 3o's, but at ceremonies(NokimisGiziis, Feast for the Dead, etc) and in the Lodge there is no way I can take the position of Grandmother until I stop having my Moon. I hope I don't stop having it for a while because, even though I've been brought up Traditional Medawiin Nishnaube from birth, taking the part of Grandmother carries responsibilitiesI feel I'm not prepared for.
