Lol, I actually do agree with you, America has had the Olympic games for too long now, I think it is time some other countries get the chance. I loved the Athens games, it was like the Olympics returned home.

Clepath: I'm so glad Chicago didn't get the 2016 games. Doing so would reward American's reckless behavior in corruption and financial spending., but they also will have the most hideous crime riddle city ever conceived.

whats the point of discussing about past olympics. The spot light is now focussed on south africa mundial. The irony is that a country which is hailed for its "progess in human rights and democracy" will be boycotted by world football fans cuz of its world record crime rate.

She is right that the Olympic Torch symbolizes unity and harmony. Bottom line is, China should of never got the Olympics. In doing so, they not only did they seemingly get rewarded for their behavior, but they also built the most hideous stadium ever conceived.
