Hello all... This is a much better version of my introduction, explaining just what the Psychology of Creationism and Faith is, as well as why and how I'm producing it. This is not a regular episode, but I think it was necessary to post. Enjoy, and expect the regular episode close to the end of the month. In the meantime, I will be remaking Episode I and replacing the current Ep. I in the playlist. Thanks for watching!

  • Rocket Surgery... Oh if there is one that got me , its that!

  • HEY THIS GOOD SERIES I GO WATCH FROM START INSTEAD OF PART 3

  • I must have one of those "do not pee on the electric fence" signs. I think it would be funny to put it on some obviously not-electric fence, a wooden fence.

  • At 1:05 you ask why people would choose one religion over another. It just depends on the evidence...lol, all that matters is who gets to you first.

As for why people hold onto creationism, I think they are scared by the implications of science that the universe is much bigger than their puny god and humans are just one part of the universe, no bigger than any other part. If you accept science, it is hard to deny that it's not all about us.

  • You're lucky, he could have thrown up a picture of Ted Haggard.

  • 1:32 Wow. I never thought I'd see it summed up in such a way. Just that sign explains everything!

  • You asked for suggestions, so here's mine: look into the "No Atheist in a Foxhole" theory

  • God really looked like Charles Darwin. Excellent into. Lovely music. I wish I could remember what I thought when I was a christian, years ago, other than 'not a lot'. I have diaries from those days but I am scared if I read them I'll puke.

  • This series looks wonderful Modias, I'm definitely interested in collaborating on it with you, or at least helping you with it, if you'd like (not that you need help, of course).

You need to put a warning in it though, before Hovind pops up ;D For real, I was eating mah dinner, and I literally almost threw it up at the sight of that waste of sperm and egg.

  • Modias, looks like an interesting series! I look forward to future videos.

  • Much better audio quality. Just turn the music down a little when you are doiung the voice over and put a foam or sock over your mic to get rid of the phpth!!! sound when you speak and you got it.

Looking forward to the series. You have a great voice for it.

  • LOL at the sign at 1:43. The first version of the introduction was good, this one is brilliant. On a side note, how does Kevin MacLeod produce so much music? He doesn't sell it so he must have some other job and I've written 1 song in the past year so I just wonder how he does it and gets such decent sounds as well.

  • Fear of hell:

    and

    A philosophy of ignorance:

    /watch?v=ESd1qLEGjQc

Are two factors that have to weighed when considering the mental states of creationists.

  • Looking forward to the rest of this series.

  • kewlness! Cant wait!

  • Excellent introduction. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of your videos.

    Ebal the Atheist

PS That's a very interesting chart showing the "hole" left by the "Dark Ages" of Christianity.

  • i'm really loving the new videos modias, they are a pleasure to watch.

  • Excellent intro.

Now chop chop with the next episod hehe. I wanna seee. =P

  • You sound like Brian flemming dude lol .....great stuff!
