@marija5kanatlarovska Thus, the region of the current country Macedonia was sadly given to what used to be Yugoslavia and that is when the brainwashing started. Sadly, there was also an attempt to clean the region from all families who did not wish convert... Correct me if I was wrong somewhere. ;)

@marija5kanatlarovska Furthermore, there are no historical records of a Macedonian nationality, until 1991 when the country Macedonia was formed. The territories of that country were predominantly (90-97%) inhabited by people who saw themselves as Bulgarian. That has been the case for hundreds of years before the whole communist agenda came forth. Since it took longer for that region to be freed from the Ottoman Turks, the land and it's people became an easy pray to predator countries...

@marija5kanatlarovska Here is what I know about Alexander of Macedon - he was the son of Phillip of Macedon, who was the king of one of the several GREEK kingdoms in those days. That kingdom was called Macedonia, but there was no such nationality. They spoke GREEK, and Alexander became famous for spreading the GREEK culture through the vast lands that he conquered. Those people have nothing to do with the current population of the country Macedonia. It's population is SLAVIC and not GREEK! ;)
