Video shows Nick Pourpourakis and Greek nighclubs of 1960's in Chicago. Music dubbed is from 1960's, recorded during live @ Zappion Pavilion in NY by Pourpourakis' band. Bouzouki Nikos Pourpourakis, Vocals by Andonis Nerris. Accordian Peponias. Original reel is 12 - 15 minutes medley of various songs.
@barbamihali That is exactly what we called him. This is ANDONIS NERRIS, my guitar player in New York circa 1965. This is only part of a long medley and he was absolutely terrific. I'm the bouzouki player on this music. Thank you so much for listening in! Andonis lives in Greece now.
I want to credit to the writers of this beautiful song that we had the pleasure to perform live on stage (which is what you are listening to). The back of an album lists B. Basileiadhs- music and Lyrics by Pythagoras. Please correct me if this is not right. What you hear is my band, only a small part of a long 15 minute medley of music. The singer again was my guitar play Andonis Nerris who had a spectacular voice, often mistaken for a famous singer. Give me your thoughts.
This sounds like a young kazantzidis singing
