Documentário sobre Genie, uma das chamadas "crianças selvagens". Genie foi mantida por mais de 10 anos trancada em um quarto, totalmente isolada do mundo exterior. Após seu resgate ela foi objeto de estudo de uma equipe de médicos e psicólogos de uma universidade da Califórnia. Esse filme acompanha a trajetória de Genie ao longo dos anos e questiona os métodos aplicados em seu tratamento e estudo. O filme também aborda o caso de Victor, outra criança selvagem encontrada na França em 1800, cujo caso foi posteriormente retratado no filme "O Menino Selvagem", de Truffaut.

After her rescue she was studied by a team of doctors and psychologists at a university in California. This film follows the trajectory of Genie through the years and questioned the methods used in its treatment and study. The film also deals with the case of Victor, another wild child found in France in 1800, whose case was later portrayed in the movie "The Wild Child" by Truffaut.

Thank you for bringin this video compilation to us! This is a whole different world, that we could never be aware of. I feel like i am much bigger now than i was before watching this. Things like this makes us understand not only different ppl, but most of all, ourselves!
