Well, I think you know my answer :) I like making videos with real life or animated footage. All my uploads are about 90 to 100 mb (640x360 pixels resolution), rendering in about 10 minutes. Don't want to make hd videos because there is less footage to find in hd resolution with decent quality and it would be very big in filesize, don't have the patience to have my vids rendering for hours ;)

Yeah I have to spend about 1:00 to 1:30 for rendering even my audiosurf/winamp videos the one on my TranceTogeather I think took 2 hours.

Just out of curiousity though do you like the winamp just as much as the custom videos like are they equally as nice sometimes or?

My opinion...

I like the custom vid clips that AOT and TranceOnJeroen1 use. (Oh yeah subscribe to them and KatsuTrance! =^)

The reason people don't use them is because it's hard to find good quality clips, especially in HD, then to customize them to 720p resolution using vid converters...TAKES MASSIVE TIME.

That's why you see still pics+visual effects because it's faster. For full motion vids it could take a week to make, research+selecting+rendering. Time is the deciding factor, imo.

Yeah, the 2nd video im making for TranceTogeather is taking a long time because it turns out Sony Vegas can't use .mkv :/

Yeah that's annoying but most vid clips you find will have to be converted to 1280x720 before inputing into Sony Vegas anyway.

Not a requirement if it takes the file type but definitely recommended if you want the best quality output into H.264 MP4. =)

Ah I try to download at 720p so i avoid having to convert, and yeah all my most recent videos are H.264 MP4 ;)

Some nice visualizations are useful if you edit them good with the track/mix. Just try it out in your next upload so we can review your creation.

Ah im pretty patience I just fiddle around with my Eee PC and chat with people while it's doing that.

That's too long for people who don't have much patience like me :) My uploads are about 11 minutes, so that it takes only 10 minutes to render is perfect for me. But a good hd video has better quality even in normal quality. But finding footage for hd videos is more difficult.
