This is an unbelievable audio recording of OCDO member SIGfreed being attacked for lawfully open carrying in a local hospital. Marc Curtis - Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney needs some serious remedial law review on Michigan gun laws. I feel based on his actions in this audio recording the bar should suspend his license to practice law. Sgt. Gary Miles - MSP Detective, and Lt. James Christianson - Muskegon County Sheriff Detective were also quite clueless. 5 Hours later after this meeting board contacted SIGfreed to return his CPL. Way to go man! You inspire me, I agree with you on the whole thing. If they don't like it then they should change the laws that are written to make them better understood. You did nothing wrong in my opinion. And everyone is right, criminals don't follow the rules, only we do, the honest people. And yet, we can't carry in pistol free zones? letting us do so could potentially stop a horrible incident from happening. Why don't people understand this? Why is this country blind?

First, it's not a CCW, that's a legal statue and a law that you can charge a criminal with. The permit that allows honest citizens to carry a concealed weapon is a CPL, Concealed Pistol License.
