Originally released June 3, 1986, exclusively in Japan, Super Mario Bros. 2 was more of an expansion than a true sequel to the original Super Mario Bros. Players now have the choice of picking between Mario and Luigi, who actually play differently from each other. The August 1993 SNES compilation Super Mario All-Stars included "The Lost Levels" with updated graphics and slight physics changes. The original Famicom version was re-released as "The Lost Levels" for Wii Virtual Console on October 1, 2007, in the United States. Fun fact: the US Super Mario Bros. 2 was released as Super Mario USA in Japan.
@That70sGamer1 No, in speed runs, you use the shortcuts, if they say there is no warp, then that would be a cheat, but no.
