I consider Japan to be one of - if not the most important friends and allys in the world that we have. We have so much more in common then what we have that separates us. I trust Japan completely, and i certainly would like to feel that they feel the same about us. Any disagreements we have between us can be worked out to mutual satisfaction I'm sure.

I really hope the alliance and the whole US-Japan relationship will be enhanced.
Emerging China is very important, but US is the strongest partner for us who shares and understands interests and values the most.

I may not like Obama's ideas at home, but the man sure has a way with words. He is perhaps the most charismatic American president in our history, and i don't think it can be denied that he has vastly improved our image.
