it would make the "show" even more interesting when the lights are not doing the same alltogether, but do different colors each.

that was exactly one of the reasons DMX was created for...to make everything move in sync.....if youlike all kinds of colors blinking with no pattern or reason go back to the 70's. lights now are controlled by color,pattern,speed, etc etc etc.
