-
@vervecovers: God I wish I coulda seen them play this tune!
-
@CosmosLoyal: Ahhh thank you, sir!
-
apparently they've split up again, prob for good
-
I'd buy a ticket just to see this song one more time.

The Eden Sessions are in Cornwall, and Cornwall is the home of the Cornish pasty.
-
"What does Ashcroft mean when he says "I'm on the great big cornish pasty trail"?"
I think its just because the Eden Project is in the county of Cornwall in south west England.
-
What does Ashcroft mean when he says "I'm on the great big cornish pasty trail"? I know what a Cornish Patsy is (they have one in Tempe, AZ!!) but what does that have to do with anything?
At Coachella, they had a plane displaying a banner, and Ashcroft saw it and said "It's de plane, boss!" in reference to Fantasy Island. So, he's known to be humorous in concert.
Explain, please! And may The Verve live long.

Not still playing at all now...I think this might be the last performace of this song, ever. Still the perfect way to close an almost perfect album!

reprise
I'm so happy they're still playing this song, it's an absolute masterpiece.

Wow, what an amazing version of a perfectly unique song. My favourite song from my favourite album. Nick Mccabe is beyond genius on the reprise. Thankyou so much for posting!
