Concert of soul-infused country-folk by American singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne and his band, recorded at St Luke's in East London at the conclusion of a UK tour. Bolstered by specially assembled string and brass sections, it features familiar favourites like Trouble and Jolene, alongside tracks from the album Till the Sun Turns Black. Also featuring Three More Days and Can I Stay?

  • Great version.

  • I don't see the big deal if he changed it completely. Van Morrison did it with his songs back in the 70s and apparently its a "jazz" thing; Not playing a song the same way twice

  • @cammurabi completely true

  • @Manu9078 fans who've only ever listened to recorded music don't usually get that artists can play the same song twenty different ways. that's the joy of going to shows and really getting to know musicians. if someone wanted the same thing over and over they could just listen to an album

  • I love this version! A standard "Tears in My Beer" tune that you can dance to. :) I love that he's versatile!

  • Thank you

  • aint one guy in a 100 can wear a beard as well as ray -the rootsy music helps. Nothing like a beard if you can pull it off

  • The album version is much better in my opinion, one of the best songs he's recorded that I've heard. This is a cool twist on it, but I hope it was just for shits and giggles 'cause the original had a ton of emotion...this one is lacking that a bit. The guy's great, we have at least two versions to choose to hear, and I don't know why I wrote all of this.

  • 69th like

  • Cd version far better than this. More passion in the cd one. This is truely horrible compared. The album version has so much more without the instrumental goin on. I love Ray but this is a shame.

  • @ayjaygill...This version isn't on the CD, Einstein.

  • @cdrock00 Buy the CD
