The bat turning into stone is actually pretty disturbing... it wouldn't be so bad if it died, but you clearly see that it's blinking and moving it's eyes, so it's still alive, but it's made of stone so it can't move and most likely can't die... it's the classic "fate worse than death".

Can anyone else imagine Bette Midler playing the voice of Gnorga and singing this song??? She was so AMAZING as Winifred Sanderson in "Hocus Pocus" and singing "I Put a Spell on you", that I know she could play this role and sing this song no problem.
