Before I delete the original video data, I did this video to show you a comparison between the motionblur and the original video. When viewing the video I made, it's easy to lose sight of how the original game would look, thinking this is normal. But with high framerates, generally the eyes will create pseudo blur.

  • gee how slow is that lcd screen. that is noticeable.

  • @2011matty I think you may me misunderstanding what you're watching. If there is LCD blur it would be from your monitor, not the one that was used during the recording.

  • I love the split screen thing.

  • Hey how can i achieve this effect in my hl2?

  • @n11lc2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!RAAAAAGGGEEEEE

  • @brt5470 calm down i wasn't trying to put your video down

  • @n11lc2 Then what is your point? I know this is similar to object motion blur. I emulated it in a cinematic form in the source engine. Thats the point of this video.

  • @brt5470 source engine doesn't have it, but crysis and lost planet are games i know that do have it.

  • @n11lc2 I wasn't aware Half Life 2 had object motion blur.

  • you can get a similar look in real time using object motion blur
