The 787 is going to be a massive white elephant for Boeing - it is even later than the A380 lol. As far as Airbus' A350 - think they will get that right - widebody twin jets are what they're best at building!
@george902010 boeing have over 850 order for this plane worldwide, boeing have beat airbus in buyers of thier brand new revolutionary aircraft. airbus a380 i think is just revamped a330 with another deck and newer engines. put it one way i know airbus did reasearch but why did they not make the a380 out of 60% composite material. the inside is fair nice but the 787 dreamliner wins my vote.
@guitarplayerforu No, it isnt the airlines loss if they cancel, because they keep their money. Its boeings loss because they've mad a multi-million dollar airplane that wont sell to anyone.
@meetsmost well at least Boeing aren't just rushing it into service with flaws, who knows the a350 and a380 could be a disaster for Airbus in the end due to flaws and failures. where as Boeing are making the 787 safe and flawless before releasing it and if airlines cancel well its their loss cos it'll be 10 times more efficient and 150% safer than their current fleets
when are they going to get this actual aircraft because Thomson said they would get it in 2010! Well we're in 2010 now and i've had no word of any airline saying that they've got it???. Why tell people your getting something that will take ages to build????
