  • It isn't really that complicated once you figure out how... but here's my approach.... The geometry(plane or mesh) was cut in to pieces (pro cutter or any other method). once this was done. cloth mod was used, a wind SW and also animated gradient map for group preserve( you can put the map under the soft selection rollout on group parameters) i recomend to use gradient (swipe or radial with noise) for best effect. uncheck gravity an put a str val for wind

  • hey. looks good. I did cloth version of wall peeling yesterday and I saw your video today. If I've seen you video yesterday it would be much easier ;) I did it different way than you but great tip from you. Tip about map in soft selection. I.ve tried different methods and finnaly I used displace force to keep the cloth on the wall and animated noise to control its force. I will try some stuff with animated group now that I now about that soft selection option ;)

  • Sweet!

I havnt worked on my 3D version for a long time, I couldn't get complex geometry to act right. Plus theres the issue with grassy planes where the 'fur'-map has to follow my script lines (but is actually a animated gif)

But this looks really nice, whats your approach?

    - PM me, tnx!
