2011 Chevy Equinox Footwell Light Installation

This is the procedure for installing the two Front Footwell Courtesy Lamps in a 2011 Chevy Equinox. Both the passenger and driver side lights are installed with almost the same procedure. The main difference is that the passenger side requires removal of the glove box and the driver side requires the removal of a screw directly above the Parking Brake Pedal. The driver side also requires that you lie down on your back, under the steering wheel, to find the harness and connector inside the dashboard. (The driver side procedure is not very well documented in this video.) The GM part number for the lamp is: 13503059. Two are required, as shown in the video.

Same procedure for Equinox 2012 LT and LS Models. It is not a standard option on these two vehicles.
