Sorry, my comment came from an anti gay video put out by Warren where he claims every religion for five thousand years say marriage is between ONE woman and one man. NOT TRUE and he must know this. Why Lie Rick?

The OT is full of marriages with several wives and concubines. Christians PRACTICE one man and one woman but Solami and other people STILL have more than one wife. You make the rest of us Christians look like fanatics when you lie to prove a point. You should apologise!

Rick... everyone doesn't need "recovery" or your view of "purpose". BUT what everyone does need is to receive forgiveness of sins through faith on Jesus Christ because if they don't they will spend eternity in hell.

To be as credible as possible you have to stick to facts in order not to give the opposition ammo to use against you. No, I am not wacky, I am INFORMED, I read the Bible and know that Judaism and other religions allowed more than one wife no matter how you feel about that does not change the facts!

I for one do not wish to see gay couples adopting children. "I" am not your opposition.

God's truth is sufficient. No need to add false info to it. Can we agree?

No I am not gay. I am a married Baptist with four boys. I am all for marriage being between a man and a woman. I saw a comment where Rick Warren stated that EVERY religion for five thousand years defines marriage as being between ONE man and ONE woman. Not true. Abraham, King David, and Solomon are some examples.These religions DO define marriage as between a "man and a woman" RW should stick 100% to the facts of an otherwise valid point to avoid discrediting that point.May I ask, who is WE?

Muslums, Jews, Buddists, Japanese, Chinese, and Arabs all had multiple wives. As far as I know, all of these religions say that marriage is between a MAN and a WOMAN, but not one man and ONE woman, that is simply not true. Infact, Christians started that on their own. DAVID "A man after God's own Heart" had hundreds of wives. I guess this guy has never read the Old Testament
