Decorating pottery by painting a hot pot with horse hair, also known as horse hair raku. This video has no narration, it's just showing me pulling hot pots from the raku kiln and placing horse hair on the pot which creates the decoration. Enjoy

@celtictrinityknot The kiln is a gas top hat kiln. It was made by the owners of Mudfire in Decatur, GA.

@Mylitla sorry you don't like the music, I've gotten complements from others on it. I guess you just can't please everyone so I'm going to consider the music my art and leave it how I like it. Please feel free to mute if you feel the need. The process seems pretty self explanatory (to me) when you watch the video but if you want dialog I'd be happy to discuss the process with you sometime.

Thank you so much for the demo, I am in the group of wishing that it was a talking demo rather than music but that is such a small thing.

I understand that this is primarily a raku thing but do you think it could be done with electric firing? ( I am fairly new to techniques so please be kind if this is a silly question :) ).
