It's indeed a magnificient raga. I have tried to listen to all possible renditions of it:
Pandit Ram Narayan on Sarangi,
Pta. Malini Rajurkar, Ustad Rashid Khan, Pt. Parameshwar Hegde, Ud. Ghulam Mustafa Khan, Pt. Feroze Dastur - Vocal
Vid. L. Subramaniam - Violin
Pt. Manilal Nag - Sitar
There are some fine renditions of it on YT.
I can't seem to have enough of it - if you know any other, please do let me know... As much as I love Salamat and Sharafat, this rendition is what it is...
That's the essence of this raga. It makes you think that you have comprehended or felt it but it's really too deep to be felt by some;) Kia baad hai catchy raga
kaisa acha raag hai:) ustad salamat khan saab ka koi jawab nahi hai:)
