These are the cardboard testimonies received from the congregation at the conclusion of our 4 worship services on the weekend of August 23rd/24th. They are a testimony to the power of Christ to change a life. To God be the glory for the things He has done.

I was depressed, contemplating suicide, and felt so alone.
The Lord has told me that everything will be okay...
I now have a boyfriend, great grades, and is in counseling and I'm learning to be free in God's way! Amen

@squishmush I don't see what's rude, I was very serious. There's a rather blatant lack of proper education on such matters to young people. Abstinence only programs and a refusal on the parents part to communicate lead to more girls making bad choices because they just don't have the information they desperately need. Texas, a state famous for it's Abstinence only programs has the highest rate of *repeat* teen pregnancies.

@Psionic7Rat Wow. That's really inappropriate and rude. She was set free from what she did, and forgiven. No one is perfect. We all have baggage from our past. I'm thankful she found Christ!

@heavenlycharm86 It's not the child's fault. God would give you the strength to raise your child and love your child in spite of the circumstances of conception. It's amazing the kind of strength God can give us when we think we can't do something. Philippians 4:13

im 16, used to be severley depressed and a non-christian, became christian but got worse, i started seeking God more and more, this friday coming is 4 months since i last self harmed :) I LOVE YOU GOD :) <3
