This is my first try after finishing my studies in harmony (also basso continuo), counterpoint and composition to improvise (what means to compose a piece "ex tempore" i.e. with no preparation). But because of the fact that it was my first try, it's only a "free impro" without any specific form (so I would call it "fantasia")
Have fun, and I'm gonna show up some others soon.

  • Very good sense of 17th century aesthetics.

Quite close to Monteverdi than to Bach obviously.

I guess Signor Frescobaldi would have aproved this!

  • @GabrielJohnbell thank you temporarily I'm working in order to improve my knowledgfe about counterpoint and the so called "canonic arts"

  • There is no secret for improvisation... it is by improvising that one learns to improvise, not by reading books and scores. You can learn the name of the pigments, that won't make of you a painter ! Well as you say you're a beginner, you'll get better every day ! Ave homo doctus, vulgus salutat ! ;)

  • @sunelav thx a lot, doctus haud sum, sed discens,si mihi tempus restat, lego doctrinas musicorum antiquorum causa diescendi de stylo et de scientia eorum

  • Very nice :)

    Thank you very much

  • Thx a lot, finally somebody who commented without any prejuges, just because of the fact, that Cecilia Bartoli is not perfect... and sorry, it is no composition, it was just how I felt that moment...

  • Hey, there! I liked this composition, you really made this piece sounded like those from the 16th middle period of the baroque era. Next time, i would like to hear this piece been completed and played upon. Like those baroque composers usually says, you have musical taste! 5 stars!

  • at first I wanted to delete this comment, but I didn't- first because of the freedom of speech and second because of the ignorance he shows- he couldn't even distinguish between a D7 and a normal Dominant-triad.... Just let's ignore the ignorance of some people writing comments just because they can't accept that the people they adore like godesse are nothing but false pictures of the commercial-era (I wrote something "bad" about his beloved Cecilia Bartoli)... Let's laugh about the vulgus.....

  • o my god no comment--and no one else has commented either--which clearly defines this talent (tasteless)
