  • sorry if someone has asked before, but did you make that arrow saw? if doesn't look familier. if you did great job, where did you get the gray thing with the butterfly screw to change the lentgh? ps very good video to the point and well done.

  • @RodriguezFamilypage I'm not sure where I got it, it isnt home made I will look at it tomarrow. I have forgot what brand it is, I have had it for almost 15 yrs, it is a good one.

  • i need your help im just got my fist bow a pse stinger. im also low on cash so i just picked up some easton 2413 arrows at academy i shoot a 29 inch draw is that a good arrow to hunt with i know a little about bows but noting about arrows and im really looking in to fobs and what arrow rest i need for it i have a wisker bisket now but im gonnna change that out what do you think would be a good set up to shoot fobs on a budget?? i just need a good arrow and rest for fobs and im all set.

  • @omgthatsmyTV Aluminum arrows will not work with FOBs unless they have the right dia. and uni-bushings

  • U can use a copper pipe cutters but u have to be careful not to leave burr inside

    the arrow

  • @PogoFogo No you can't they will crush the fibers of the carbon and not cut them clean. You can use the pipe cutter on aluminum it will work fine just not carbon, besides who uses aluminum anymore, not many folks.

  • I'm new to archery and am really interested in your videos. They're helping me to understand everything I need to know much quicker than learning from my club-mates or by 'trial & error.' Thanks for posting.

  • Thanks again for all the help. Ive told all my buddies from the marine carps about your vids. Coming from a strictly assault rifle and machine gun backround its a whole new rush with bow hunting. Thanks again.

  • But like most things starting out not knowing anything about compound bows Ive had alot of amateur mistakes. Question:how do you feel about using "shoe glue" for the insert. Im pretty new to bow hunting but thats what ive been using. I feel like it has as much or maybe even more rubbery texture than hot glue once it dries so in turn i dont feel like it gets brittle at all. And havent had any inserts come out when i pull arrows out of a target.

  • Thanks for all the vids and all the questions answered. Its nice that theres people out there that like to help new guys like me out. I just left the marine corps infantry and have been a rifleman at heart my whole life. I have now found a new love in my life. Bow Hunting.

  • hey thnks for the vid :)

  • hot glue also gives the point some coushin because it is still soft unlike the adhesive

  • @grttaxi Hey now, I'm still shooting aluminums! I'll be ordering a half dozen carbons with my next paycheck though.

    Nice video.

  • thanks for the tip. i went right out to the shop and cut my arrows to length and installed the inserts. i didnt have the right saw, but used a fine bladed scroll saw, and had to wrap the arrow at the cut in electrical tape, but it worked perfectly. and then used hot glue. now im all good to go. thanks again

  • Ummm, I use aluminum because i don like the possibility of carbon splitting, breaking, and splintering into my meat...

  • Hi Kenny, I'm new to archery and recently picked up this sport with my kids. When you attached the insert into the instrument (my best guess is T bar driver?). Is it custom made? Can you buy it online? Thanks

  • Kenny let me tell you this; you are the man! I am an Active duty military man that has been shooting archery since I was 15yrs old and now teaching my boys and my 13 yr old daughter. I have learned more the past 2-days watching your videos than years of mess told to me by others. There are so many ways to do things and you make it very simple and I can see the passion you have to teach others. Thanks for teaching me so I can continue on the right way with my kids and others. Thanks Again.
