The Sweet was the pinnacle of "cool" in the mid 70s. I used to congregate with my buddies in the school parking lot to snort speed and drink cheap booze during those times. What was always on the 8-Track was the Sweet. Desolation Blvd is probably the best album made in the 1970s. Too bad about Brian and Mick. Why doesn't Andy play with Steve these days? I'd love to see a reunion if only half the band!

Well, to be honest, now that I have bought "A Cry for a New World" I reckon Colin Peel's singing even overtakes that of Tony.
But it does not change the fact, that the most successful album Mantis have done since 1990 is "Nowhere to Hide".

aber nach jeff ist es auch wahrscheinlich schwer einen brauchbaren ersatz zu finden!

ich wuerde sagen das liegt zum einen daran dass es brians song ist und brians stimme erfordert, aber auch daran dass es generell bessere saenger gibt. meiner meinung nach singt pete lincoln, der im moment leadsaenger ist, viel besser.

Das ist schon schwierig dieser Stimme zuzuhören wenn man die phantastische Stimme von Brian Connolly im Ohr hat.Manche Dinge sollte man besser ruhen lassen bevor man sich überschätzt. Beate
