My son Josh shot his first deer with archery gear in October. He practiced for months on end and when crunch time came, he made a money shot. I couldn't get the camera around to show it, but the deer went less than 30 yards and nose-dived. He shot another one the next day as well! For all you idiots that can't read: These are not caged deer. The feeder pen is to keep out hogs and cows. It is about 4' tall. How do you think the deer disappear at the shot? Through holes in the ground? They jump in and out with ease. A deer can jump a 7' high fence with ease. 4' is nothing. Get a life. Nobody cares that you hunt a food plot instead of a feeder. Food plots don't grow in rocky west texas.
