19504x4, That is an interesting observation you made. At the time the Opel GT was being built and for some years after, many people called it The Baby Vette.

The classic GT is a great car with tons of character. At one time, I had six Opel GTs, one from each year they were built. I sold five of them when I decided to go to college. The other one was stolen and never recovered. That was a real bummer. I didn't have insurance on that car because it wasn't licensed at that time.

As an owner of a '72 Opel GT, back in the day, I say " Listen up GM ! Re-make this car, keeping as much to the original as possible ! People would purchase them in droves ! I would even try to purchase one or two myself! "
