Single camera sitcoms have a lot of a certain kind of shot, a reverse angle cutaway to someone reacting to something wacky somebody else has said. Of course these are shot at a completely different time from when the comedic line was shot, probably not even with the line being played back. Once I started to notice it, it got really distracting. Here's Liz Lemon's reactions from a single episode of 30 Rock.
