Secret recording of the FBI by Malcolm X (Feb. 4, 1964)

The FBI visits Malcolm X in 1964. Malcolm knew that they were coming so he hid a tape recorder under his couch. The agents identify themselves as Beckwith and Fulton from the New York office of the FBI. A transcript of the meeting can by found in John Henrik Clarke's "Malcolm X: The Man and His Times".

Aware that he was being forced out of the NOI, the FBI moved in, trying to get information from Malcolm about the NOI and its membership. Although not the best sound quality, you can clearly hear them offering Malcolm X money and offering to eliminate people for him. He declines the offer.

@onceevinicinitemizle It seems that due to the family ties the women have with LF through marriage he would not have to pay them to do this. Doesnt that say something about how the women felt about EM and the NOI? they allowed there children to wed the current heads children. Seems like they have nothing but respect for LF, EM and the NOI. It seems like people are allowing their emotions to interfere with seeing the logical connections within the situation.

@onceevinicinitemizle My conclusion about the situation is based on the testimony of the women. Is it possible the women were paid to say those things? Possibly, BUT why would Farrakhan have to wait 27 years later when the movie Malcolm X came out to BRIBE them to make these statements? Why would Farrakhan have to pay them when his children have been married to at least ONE of all the womens ahildren accept one. And that odd women has 2 sons who are MInisters under LF.

@onceevinicinitemizle Brother all I did was investigate the situation. Malcolm said EM was immoral because he impregnated "young girls" unlawfully but according to the WOMEN themselves MALCOLM SLANDERED them, EM and was a traitor. I do not have anything against a great man like Malcolm. I accept him FLAWS and all, BUT in this situation the EVIDENCE says that Malcolm was WRONG for how he handled his suspension and his issue with EM and the Nation, BUT I wish he were alive.

@truetitehere Malcolm X's left nation of Islam because of rumors of Muhammad's extramarital affairs with young secretaries, actions that were against the teachings of the Nation. Although at first Malcolm X had ignored the rumors, after speaking with Muhammad's son Wallace and the women making the accusations, he came to believe that they were true. Muhammad confirmed the rumors in 1963 but tried to justify his actions by reference to precedents set by Biblical prophets.

@221ddj I dont mind getting into a theological dialogue, but I first wanted to address your slander. Yes you have every right to be SUSPICIUOS and ACCUSE people of acts WITHOUT evidence. Just KNOW that there is ALSO a punishment for this act. With that my job is done. I cant force ADMONISHMENT upon. @221ddj Some one has to court her, and if i had a friend who was a decent man and my daughter was fond of him i would not forbid her from marrying him. Now if he comes on to her unwelcomed thats different. But if my daughter reaches maturity and knows how to be a good wife and she wants to marry him i would give her my best and would feel comfortable that my friend would not harm or hurt my daughter. This was common amongst the companions of the Prophet Muhammad.

@221ddj Well just because u dont like something doesnot make it wrong. If Allah made it lawful for Malcolm to b killed because he slandered decent women by lieing on them and being guilty of traitorous acts and hypocrisy then his death was the will of Allah. Its sad but its recompense for his behavior. He should have not treated EM the way he did, after all EM did for him and made him. As for LF he believed that MX deserved death so y stop it? They were at war and thats how war works.
