The excerpt was filmed with audiences in Scotland & shows the play's final sequence in which the TEAM portrays the Springer children (evangelicals orphaned by what they think is the Rapture) & their supernatural visitors (including Robert F. Kennedy). During this sequence a year passes, mirroring the cyclical structure of the play. Using nuanced performances, dance & text - along w/ visual elements from the production like flour & eggs - we fuse the plays stories: the characters' quest for spiritual redemption & the forging of a new American family from red & blue states, past & present. The clip shows how the TEAM blends the modern & historical, spectacle & the intellectual.
