as of today 8/7/11 a 600 force of the Black Watch (Dundee's own ) has just left for Afganistan, I wish them well and a safe return and some peace to the people of this war torn continent. Yvonne

@upthetrossac---I'm American, from Texas in fact. I hope to one day visit both Scotland & Ireland for an extended stay. The Celtic music, I can FEEL in my bones. That probably is not unique in this country due to the popularity of Celtic Woman. The few people I've met from your part of the world have impressed me. Time to travel leisurely, meeting people & getting to know the land is what I hope to do. Would I have been able to make your celebration a while back. Definitely cool.

these videos are good. I live 20miles west of glasgow and the rain is pouring down today,but it's not a bad rain. we,ve had worse. Scotlands as good in the winter as it can be in summer. who would want to be anywhere else with all this on your doorstep?though ive had some nice times in England ,ive gotten homesick after 2 or 3 weeks.
