Charlie Parker Quartet with Earl Coleman singing This Is Always. His voice just like Mr B(Billy EcStine,or Extine. It's a same). Short solo by Parker is very clear,
and imprresive^^♪ I love this tune very well.

#This is Always
Earl Coleman(vocal)
Charlie Parker(alto sax)
Erroll Garner(piano)
Red Callender(bass)
Harold Doc West(drums)

Dial D-1019-B(78rpm)

  • @laceup1967 Thank you for watching, and advise^^! This is very special♪ normally I'm playback using light cartriges (electric turntable) Of course I'm always taking care of 78rpm records. these record's are like my jewel^^♪♪

    Many thanks.

  • You should not be putting his record on that machine: it was pressed for electric playback machines with LIGHT cartridges not acoustic railroad spikes. These early Bird sides are comparatively rare and should be cared for.

  • @LeleMelo78 Thank you for watching^^! I do really think so.Yes! Johnny Hartman is my favorite singer, also I like Nat King Cole too. Many thanks♪♪

  • @navitimer54 I definitely agree, and Earl Coleman's vocals, they make me think of Johnny Hartman, my favorite jazz singer.
