I wrote and recorded this song in 1976 when I lived in Medina. Had a lot of fun with it over the years and still get requests to play it. Thanks to whoever posted this.
Ahhh, the days of old, when HTC and Cousins point were the places to go listening to music, especially at the house across the water in Hamilton Cove and you could find "Ole Big John - KPO 9890" on the CB.....:)..and this song is stuck in my head 40 years later....

I lived on Medina Lake in a little town called Lake Hills. I believe this song was played every 20 minutes at the local bar called 'Lake Hills Country Club' (not a golf coarse). ... and for the comment by poetr8888- The name of the place in Bandera is 'Arkey Blues' Silver Dollar SALOON', right across the street from 'The Purple Cow Dancehall'.
doesn't this singer also have his own version of the iceman song? I've been looking forever for that one. I think the name is any ice today lady, but it's not the original one, he does this one
Who remembers "The Sportsman AKA Cedar Point Landing AKA Bedrock Cafe" ?
..... When Bob k ran Red Cove... and Old Bob was down there
Cold days in Red Cove...and breakfast tacos
Who was the guy that had that 3 story pontoon boat.... Iron Maiden
Ernie Lerma giving everybody in a jetboat a ticket
Chili Cook offs at Pop's Place
Summer Fest at Cousins Point
Jud Ashmore living at Pebble Beach
What was the name of the bar at the top of the hill by the Fire Dept...???
