@knaim1 cont.. it will make your productions stronger and there is a FUNDAMENTAL FORMULA for specific processing that isnt critical to do by the books, but if your just learning, its the best place to start. my best piece of advice though would be to learn SYNTHESIS, twisting cutoffs or pushing buttons on synths will only make your life harder, learn what they do, then experiment with them. @knaim1 Whats your budget look like? and the axiom 49 will do you quite solid as far as a controller goes, if its a PRO, even better, because its parameters are already mapped out in pro tools and logic. you can either hook it up through USB i believe or via MIDI, in which case youll need a MIDI interface (99$ M-Audio MIDI SPORT will suffice) And the best piece of equipment is your ears my man, and, the internet haha, read...take notes and put heart and knowledge into your music...cont...
