@mark1983peace Dude, this guy lives in Northern Alberta. He is surrounded by solid trees for hundreds of miles. Injuring a tree, likely on property his parents own, is not going to be a big concern. This is a sweet video Craftsman, I'm going to have to check out your other videos.

Mate, I appreciate that you apply a lot of what you've learned.
Did you know that cutting off the inner bark of a tree will either kill or permanently damage it?
It is recommended that you do this only in a life or death situation, or that you find a fallen tree that is still alive (which isn't difficult).
Keep practising though mate, you're doing a great job.

you really should make a video on how to build a shelter
i really spend alot of time out door's so these video's really help out alot
i made a crossbow that goe's 20-25 feet ill bring it out in the forest and sleep in it
