Geez, how many times can one team fall for the back-door cut in one game?
-
Still one of the biggest upsets ever, considering Princeton (like all Ivies and the Ivies alone) is a non-scholarship school.
It should also be noted that Princeton was probably overseeded as a 13 (based on their history) and UCLA was underseeded as a 4 (Pac 10 champ).

awww you edited out the part where sidney johnson intentionally fouled cameron dollar but he missed both of the free throws :) still, great job, and great editing... love this video :)

Who says 'White Men Can't Jump'? I'll take an all-White team (or in this case, 4 out of 5) Whites over a full-blown nap team anyday! And ANYONE who beats either of those suck-ass faggots from UCLA or USC is A-OK in my book. FUCK those California MUTTS!

Princeton's coach's hair FTW

Watching this to get amped for this year. Kentucky is the new UCLA.

Harvard is the new UCLA.

This was the first year that Gus Johnson called March Madness on CBS - this was actually only the third NCAA game he ever announced. And March Madness would never be the same...

@gokinsmen Got to agree. This is more like a 2-15 upset than a 4-13 upset.
Uh, with all due respect, can you limit your biases to teams only, and try hard not to be such a racist or homophobe? Even if you can't use decent language in a public place, where some children might actually come to watch this game. Thanks. Your Mother

Not sure I'd call a hook shot in the paint a layup, but basically you are correct: in this offense, the three point shot is a prime option which also opens up the middle for layups. ( Not all free throws were shown in this edited version of the game.) But you also should understand what Pete Carril often said, "A team that shoots 40% on three point shots equals 60% in two point shots."

My dad told me about some game back in the day when Princeton was a 16 seed and they would have beaten the 1 seed but the refs cheated and helped the other team win. I think it was early 70s. Who was that? Georgetown?

Princeton- Georgetown 1989 (?) is also on YouTube. Princeton was a 16 seed, Georgetown a #1. Watch it and you can decide for yourself who really won.
