Three videos from the June 20, 2009 celebration of George Reeves' career organized by Jim Nolt of The Adventure Continues web site ( http://www.jimnolt.com ) George passed away on June 16, 1959.

You see Jim Nolt welcoming everyone to dinner and thanking some of the people who made the celebration so special, Joe Franklin telling a story about George being on his show, and Jim calling Noel Neill by phone so she could be part of this special evening.

Dinner took place at Kennedy's Irish Restaurant, West 57th Street, New York City. Video filmed by Steve Brant

Now I know how Alan Ladd and Phil VanZandt felt felt when they saw themselves in Citizen Kane.It's more than surreal to hear Mr. Nolt say Noell couldn't make it to New York because she was to too tired from her recent trip to Metropolis.Where wer we anyway, Flanagan's or Kennedy's?

  • That's true Sir..Mr.Reeves did leave us with alot of happy memories

    of his film and tv work.And his friendship with those..who got to know

    him.I never got to meet him.But I still admire his work as a performer.
