Quick trail food done FBC style. This meal uses a brick of ramen (minus the "flavor" packet to control the sodium) and a hefty helping of dried vegetables to feed you in a matter of minutes.

I always love it when i see people using those huge, heavy alcohol stoves when a penny stove is by far more practical in a camping situation. Penny stoves are WAY lighter, work nearly as quickly (deduct a minute or so on boiling time), and cost WAY less. How little? I made mine out of two soda cans, which I nicked from a recycling bin. The only thing that is costing me is the fuel, (I use denatured alcohol, 10 bucks for a gallon). That alcohol stove, which is too heavy to carry, is COSTLY!
