  • @keji1 lol, yeah i see it now when i squint my eyes. It was the over use of Harmony that threw me a bit

  • Not true...I was in NYC when they were both working on BAD's second album #10 Upping Street. Dennis Mitchell, assist engineer on it was a good friend, and told me about the sessions, and I was so happy to hear that Strummer and Jones were fine. Strummer's V-13 is serious good stuff from that album. Like all close friends, a falling out can happen, but what they had prevailed.

  • @peterthorp What are you on about, they didn't talk for years after Jones got the sack from The Clash....

  • Yea, and without Mick. Strummer is beyond. They were great friends to the end. I consider this to be about the best from Joe. And, a serious political song about England. One of the major football factions used this as a theme, they don't even realize what he's actually saying!

OMG what the fuck is Warhol thinking about??? That's Paul in front.

Too handsome for him. Don't try a chance scant.

  • @kildare97 =)

  • @Vincenteloco And on the 8th day The Clash made God

  • rolling stone named this 1 of the top 10 singles ever. Joe finally got to call out the hypocrisy he saw in England. Great song, but they had better singles, in my opinion.
