  • you know frank, just a thought. these vids would be a hundred times better with an HD camera. The HD cameras show so much better depth than standard cams. I know these videos do know justice to how big those seas really are. If you watch deadliest catch in hd the seas look so much bigger and closer to what they are seeing than if you watch it in standard def.....

  • The problem with HD is the resulting file size, trying to upload on to you tube would be difficult and latter viewing with low grade broadband would be slow and intermitent, also at the screen size of you tube i do not think any differance in quality would be noticable, its different with a 40" plasma screen, where you would see the difference.

  • Adorei o vídeo e a música que está ao fundo.

Por favor, me diz quem está cantando?

    Obrigada!

  • 1:55 - surfing!

  • when they catch a rope around the prop, chuck norris goes over the side with his pen knife to clear it.

  • Great video, and impressive boat handling. But I seriously doubt that that wind speed is anywhere near 85 knots. And incidentally force 11 is defined as winds in the range 56-63 knots.

  • Powerful boat! It's certainly a peacemaker.

  • @RMR2ENG Yes this is Atlantida Azul, she is now operating in her home port of Sines, Portugal for the last two and a half years, this video was during sea trials in Ireland just after she was built.

  • @frankwildcat No there is a huge difference in wuality seen on youtube videos. I render and upload HD videos to youtube no problem, if someone with a slower internet can't load it they have the option to lower the quality down to 480p, 360p, etc...

  • That is a Pilot ship. It must be 65' long. Not really out in a storm--she is delivering or returning from delivering a pilot to a ship entering or leaving a major port.

  • @frankwildcat guys the present format is the most correct format for this media. It pleases everybody.

  • @TyTy4882 How dare you diss the music.. sasha FTW ;D
