I don't see force 11 storm, it's very severe condition, the wind in very high but the sea is max F 6/7.
Search the video "genovafoce" with a 25 meters boat in F7 (for me) sea condition.

I really dont know what is on the pilot's mind... i love to learn the skill, coz i myself have my own a boat, but never encounter such actions.. Great handling and a very good video.. just wonder how irt was shot... wish i can joint and share the experience..

you know frank, just a thought. these vids would be a hundred times better with an HD camera. The HD cameras show so much better depth than standard cams. I know these videos do know justice to how big those seas really are. If you watch deadliest catch in hd the seas look so much bigger and closer to what they are seeing than if you watch it in standard def.....

The problem with HD is the resulting file size, trying to upload on to you tube would be difficult and latter viewing with low grade broadband would be slow and intermitent, also at the screen size of you tube i do not think any differance in quality would be noticable, its different with a 40" plasma screen, where you would see the difference.

I don't agree. You can see a big difference with high def original footage. The viewer can also opt-in if they have the bandwidth. Anyway, thanks for the vid!
