  • Its part of the Kwin built in effects if you enter System settings then Desktop, then all effects, its called Cube, and the settings you can choose what command starts the cube and how far the zoom out is, hope this helps

    Add an activity: Zoom out from your current desktop view by clicking on the cashew (the icon in the top right corner) and selecting Zoom out. You see a toolbar under your current desktop. Click on "Add Activity" to create a new desktop view.

    Associate a virtual desktop with an activity: Zoom out by clicking on the desktop cashew and a new toolbox will open. Click on "Configure Plasma" then check the box "Different activity for each virtual desktop". Click on OK and you are done !

  • no offence, but why the hell would you be using Pidgin on Kubuntu when it's a gtk app and Kopete is just as capable :\
