To believe in any religion is to accept thought that is not within our rationality. It is impossible for anything in our world to be infinite. So having said that, How do we come up with the idea of an infinite deity? Something that is finite cannot create something that is infinite. And since the finite cannot create the infinite, then it cannot understand it through its rational thought. Therefore the finite is irrational for believing in something which he cannot sense, but is there.
