In this dysfunctional family comedy, a young couple's healthy relationship is put to the test when they travel to California to attend a family event. Told through the video camera the couple brings along with them, the insanity caught on tape will make you glad your relatives are the one you're stuck with.

On a road trip west, Devon manages to skirt disaster when his girlfriend Monica confronts him about finally legitimizing their four-year relationship. But disaster proves unavoidable when they arrive in Los Angeles and Monica must live amongst Devon's family for an entire weekend. As the clan's unbearable fighting and unique brand of fun ensues, Monica begins to question whether she really wants to marry into this madness. Worse, Devon's mom seems to have it in for Monica. In the very sticky middle of it all, Devon struggles to keep the peace, and in the process finally begins to realize how lucky he'd be to have Monica in his life forever...that is, if she'll still have him.
