This DC Geared Motor with encoder is formed by a quadrature Hall Effect encoder board which is designed to fit into the rear shaft of Cytron's SPG-30 Geared Motor series. Two Hall Effect sensors are placed 90 degrees apart to sense and produce two outputs A and B which is 90 degrees out of phase and allowing the direction of rotation to be determined.
Hardwares used in this video:

your video is cool! thnku very much.. it cleared all my concepts about quadrature encoder! I am currently working on a project in which i need to perform the same task as shown in video. I went to your website in search of source code but couldn't locate it. I tried to register but it seems that i need to be a citizen of Malaysia.. but i stay in India. Can u please post the source code here? looking forward for your reply.. Thnx a lot again!!

@omkarkarve
This motor series is come with the encoder part. Yes, only one magnet but it has some North and South poles alternately inside the magnet cylinder.
