I'm new to these luminox watches and I received a luminox atacama 1845 as a gift and I was fidling with it and the second hand stopped and the watch stopped ticking altogether. I was wondering what was up and if anyone had a fix or if the battery was dead. I pull the crown out and the lower middle clock spins but the watch doesnt do anything else. What should I do?

This is a common problem with Luminox watches...my 3051 does the same thing, falling right between the marks. But as long as you can tell the time it is not a big deal.

i see the second hand doesnt fall directly on the second mark on the dial.
im having this issue too with my 1828. but not a big deal.

Are you sure it's 200m? I have a 1879 blackout and it's only 100m. Why are they different when the only difference is the color?

I bought this same watch. I found that with the pigskin strap, the watch was top-heavy.I later bought the stainless steel link bracelet. What a difference! The bracelet is heavy, and that helps to balance things out. Plus Luminox doesn't offer this wite/beige fave with a steel bracelet, only the black-face dial in the 1820 series. The bracelet wasn't cheap either...ran$144.00
