Great musicians and performers are never in a contest with each other, they simply enjoy the jam. Both Neil and Trey are far beyond the average musician and guitarist. It has nothing to do with time nor age. It looks to me like they enjoyed the shit out of jamming with each other. Only fans seem to get in a contest about it all, and sadly enough by watching it while searching for a winner, they miss the beauty of what it is.

You are so ignorant to say that the Grateful Dead is a "boring country act." Have you ever listened to St. Stephen? How about China Cat? How about New Speedway Boogie? How about any of their stuff predating 72 (they started to get folky which in my opinion is even better.) They are in no way a country act, the closest thing is folk. That would be like saying the Rolling Stones are country becasue of the song Girl With The Far Away Eyes. Get some taste, learn some history.
