Cant believe they were dumb enough to make this half the size it should have been. Weird, its too small to be useful. Real shame its a great idea.

How much did you pay for this?
What is the original retail price anyway?

Emergency signal, battery lasts twice as long, catches the eye from a distance..

Having sort of mixed feelings on this one. While I really loves Fenix and have several of their lights I'm having trouble figuring out what to use this for that I can't use my LD10 for with a headband (it's even compareable in output). Personally I really hope Fenix will make their sort of "Zebra" light with AA batteries abd a warm emitter - that I can see a lot of use for that!

dang it's been 2 months? I should post an update
But my 2¢ if interested..
I used it occasionally
I keep it in a bag / pack when I'm on long trips or travel, not daily
I have it for emergency / occasional use, so i do use it, but not everyday, it does get carried around and treated casually (not pampered)
It still works, it has been usefull on multiple occasions, it's been annoying just a few times
I still think it is worth the cost, its a well made Fenix

another good vid guys keep em coming... seems like a good light but i wonder why they didn't put the highest setting as the first mode?

it can easily be set that way
the first mode is always the last mode used.. so always turn it off on high, it will start off in high
