This character had been done to death but would never have been possible in any other era then or now. It was like a combination of Rick Martel and Rick Rude, right down to the theme music. I remember seeing him debut and I'd never seen anything quite like this.
One of the BEST personality characters ever in the WWF/E. The timing couldn't have been more perfect in an age when WWE was *trying* to be edgy and over the top.

Back in the day when everyone in WWE had a personality. Val was just a midcarder but way more memorable than 70% of WWE's roster today. There is just no personality in the guys anymore.
